Memory Flowers: 10 to find and why
Facts checked 2026-10-28
Memory Flowers are story collectibles; the Listen to Every Flower trophy needs ten. Search order matters less than completing a region before moving on, because several sit behind optional paths.
Memory Flowers are Phantom Blade Zero's story collectible: fragments of memory that fill in the world, the Wulin and the people Soul meets. Ten of them are required for the Listen to Every Flower trophy.
They are also the collectible most likely to be left until the end, which is a mistake. Several sit behind optional paths in regions you will not revisit, and the story context lands better when you find them in order.
What they are
A Memory Flower records a piece of the past. The game's store description lists them alongside the Wulin and the Discordance, Transcension and the Lady of the Veil as the world's mysteries, which tells you they are lore first and collectible second.
Reading them is optional. Collecting ten is not, if you want the platinum.
How to search without hating it
- Clear each region before the story moves on. The flower is usually near a side path you would take anyway.
- Look up, not just forward. Several sit on ledges and upper walkways that the camera does not show while you run.
- Follow the optional fights. Challenge locations tend to sit in the same pockets as flowers.
- Ring the fast travel bell first. It turns a missed flower from a twenty-minute walk into a two-minute trip.

Where they cluster
The regions with the most optional geometry — Crimson Forest, Village of Lu and Meigu Lake — are where most players find their first six without trying. Pangzhen and the Mountain of Imprisonment hide theirs behind mechanisms and vertical routes, which is where a checklist helps.
This page does not print a coordinate list. Coordinates without a map screenshot are worse than useless in a game with this much verticality, and a wrong pin costs more time than a careful sweep.
The trophy, precisely
| Trophy | Tier | Requirement |
|---|---|---|
| Listen to Every Flower | Bronze | Collect 10 Memory Flowers |
Ten is a low threshold compared with the total in the world, which is deliberate: the trophy rewards engagement, not completionism. The full list is on the trophy page.
What they add to the story
The flowers are the game's main vehicle for the Lady of the Veil thread and for the history of the Order. If you care about the eight endings, they are worth reading rather than skipping: the endings page explains how side content feeds the conclusion, and the flowers are part of that side content.
FAQ
Do Memory Flowers give gameplay bonuses?
No. They are lore collectibles; the trophy is the only mechanical reward.
Are there more than ten?
Yes. Ten is the trophy threshold, not the total in the world.
Can I collect them after finishing the story?
The regions remain accessible, so most can be picked up post-game. Quest-linked content is the exception, so sweep before the final chapters.
Do they affect the ending?
They feed the story context around the Lady of the Veil and the Order's history, but the endings are decided by Tales. Read both pages if you are chasing a specific conclusion.
