PC requirements: all four tiers

Facts checked 2026-10-28

Quick answer

Minimum is a GTX 1660 6GB or RX 5500 XT 8GB at 1080p30 with upscaling; recommended is an RTX 3060 Ti or RX 6700 XT at 1440p60. Ray tracing wants an RTX 5060, path tracing an RTX 5080.

S-GAME published four official PC tiers before launch: minimum, recommended, ray tracing recommended and path tracing recommended. All four assume an SSD, 16 GB of memory and upscaling enabled at the stated resolution.

The short version: a GTX 1660-class card gets you 1080p at 30 fps, an RTX 3060 Ti-class card gets 1440p at 60, ray tracing wants an RTX 5060, and path tracing is 4K territory with an RTX 5080.

Path tracing—RTX 5080 16GB16 GB2160p, 60 fps, upscaling

All tiers list Windows 10/11 64-bit, DirectX 12 and an SSD as required. S-GAME's preload note is blunt about the SSD: install the game on one, and keep about 300 GB free during the preload because the download unpacks into a second copy.

What each tier means in practice

Minimum is a 1080p/30 target with upscaling enabled, which means internal resolution below 1080p. On a 1660 that will look soft but run. Expect to turn down shadows and effects before you touch resolution.

Recommended is the tier most people should aim for: 1440p/60 with upscaling. An RTX 3060 Ti or RX 6700 XT is a five-year-old mid-range card, so this is a well-optimised target rather than a demanding one.

Ray tracing at 1080p/60 on an RTX 5060 is the entry point for the lighting the marketing shows. Ray tracing is in the launch build, not a post-launch patch.

Path tracing at 2160p/60 on an RTX 5080 is the showcase tier. DLSS 4 with multi-frame generation is part of the package, and without upscaling and frame generation the tier does not hold 60.

Storage and downloads

ItemNumber
PC installabout 145 GB
Free space during preloadabout 300 GB
PS5 installabout 134 GB
SSD requiredYes, both platforms

The PC build is bigger than the PS5 build, and the preload needs roughly twice the final size while it unpacks. If you are tight on space, download after launch instead of preloading.

Practical settings advice

  1. Turn on upscaling before you lower settings. The game is built around it at every tier.
  2. Keep ray tracing off until you have a stable frame rate without it; then add it back and measure.
  3. Cap the frame rate. A stable 60 reads better than a fluctuating 80 in a parry game.
  4. Install on an SSD. The game asks for one and the streaming stalls are obvious on a hard drive.

FAQ

Is 16 GB of RAM enough?

Yes, all four official tiers list 16 GB. There is no 32 GB tier, which suggests the game is not memory-hungry.

Do I need an RTX card to play?

No. The minimum tier is a GTX 1660. Ray tracing and path tracing need RTX hardware, but the base game does not.

Will it run on a Steam Deck?

S-GAME has not published a Deck rating, and the game is a 145 GB UE5 title with ray tracing. Treat Deck play as unconfirmed rather than supported.

Is DLSS 4 available at launch?

Yes. S-GAME's RTX announcement lists DLSS 4 with multi-frame generation as a launch feature alongside ray tracing.
